Okanogan School Garden Network Community Resiliency Fellowship
Sustainability Pathways is providing a small cohort of post-college Fellows with a professional development learning experience that engages participants with local organizational partners to support more sustained climate and sustainability project capacity. This Fellowship will focus primarily on development of a community outreach model for the Okanogan School Garden Network and will be hosted by Classroom in Bloom and the Okanogan Conservation District. This Fellowship offers valuable experience to someone interested in communications and education; the Fellow will become familiar with each of eight school gardens around Okanogan County - starting in April and continuing into June. Summer Youth Farm Apprenticeships
Classroom in Bloom is hiring two Summer Farm Apprentices to gain proficiencies in organic production, seeding and transplanting, cultivation, infrastructure repair and maintenance,
harvest and distribution, and food safety/handling. Work two days per week with garden staff while enjoying company, good food and a magical work environment. Educational summer camp opportunities available for any interested candidates. Youth 16 and older are encouraged to apply; 14-15 yr olds will be considered.

Spring and summer vOLUNTEERs!
Volunteers are always welcome and appreciated in the garden! During the summer months we welcome parents, children, and community members to join us on Thursdays between 9am - 12pm to help keep the garden growing strong while students are on break. Watch out for our DirtWorks! Summer Learning Series
During the school year, we need volunteers on a weekly basis in the spring and fall. You can sign up to work with a particular class, or for a morning or afternoon... whatever works for your schedule. Garden sessions with kids start in the 1st week of school, so please contact us before the season begins.
